Hiking!

Picture
Izzy, Cooper & Gatsby on the trail!
Please see our page on Facebook to see all the latest pictures.

A daily romp of between 1.5 to 3 hours in the woods is the foundation for a happy Vizsla and sets the tone for the rest of our day!

Special Guest Handlers!

The dogs love our staff and new friends that drop in to see these lovable animals!

Tug-Of-War Record!

Picture
Nora and Gatsby go all out in Tug-of-War
These guys played tug-of-war indoors for over 35 minutes; no rest, no stop, just constant tug-of-war .  Welcome to Vizsland!

Dog Tired!

Picture
It's 4pm and these little ones are passed out (it only took us 8 hours!!)  Don't worry -- we will wake them in a bit to play some more!

As you can see from the picture, Vizsland provides tons of personal, individual care (lots of petting and loving), and always only positive reinforcement.

Lots of Love for our special friends!

Chad loves on Izzy and vice versa!
Let us spoil your dog! At Vizsland your dog becomes our dog -- we love to provide the same cuddling and affection they get in your home!

Outdoors

Picture
Just beyond our gates is Rock Creek Park -- a Vizsla nirvana.  On a mid-day hike the forest seems like...a deserted forest!  The creek is beautiful.  Often we will see the ducks floating along at one particular point on the creek.  The chipmunks taunt the dogs.  Tails are in full wag the whole time.

Look closely to spot a Vizsla!

Picture
Almost 30 yards long, our natural space is unrivaled in day care facilities.
Vizslas are beautiful when they go into the famous 'all out' circle eight running streak! This playground provides them that opportunity.   You can see the neurosis melt away from a dog that gets such freedom.

The many squirrels here provide the dogs the opportunity to be in there element.

Note that I buit Gatsby a dog house.  He has refused to set foot in it. Let's just say he was never a crate dog.  At Vizsland we do not use crates (unless you request otherwise).  Dogs at Vizsland live with us all day and night -- the same way Hungarian Royalty hundreds of years ago treated these sweet, non-agressive, amazingly gifted hunting/companion dogs.

Sniff, sniff, explore more!

Your Pooch and the Porch

Don't know why but the dogs love to hang out on the front porch!
